Well, today is the day. I leave in a couple hours to take John to the airport. The kids and I are doing well, we are a little sad, but very grateful that we were able to spend time with our Soldier. We are so very proud of him, and love him so very much. We have 25 weeks until he is home again for good, and so the countdown begins. Everyone kept telling me that this would be harder than the first time I sent him to Iraq, but I am feeling like it is not as hard. Yes, I am sad, and my heart hurts a little, but I know what to expect this time, and I know that he will be home soon. I know that he is ready to get back over there and finish the deployment. The sooner he goes back there, the sooner he comes home to us. I want to thank everyone for all of your support and love, we could not get thru this without that. Mom is here, and that is going to help with the transition. The kids will have an easier time adjusting I think with John not being here. They are going to stay here today with her while I take him to Atlanta. I will update the blog soon, and I have a few pics I will add.
